So in this blog . I ‘ll be talking about what the difference between intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation
Intrinsic motivation – A boy named Josh is intrinsically motivated to do writing for his own sake and personal reward
Extrinsic motivation – A boy named Karl is extrinsically motivated to do writing to earn a reward from teacher or avoid a punishment
So how do you want your child to be ?
Should he /she be like Josh or like Karl?
Well I myself was like Josh at some point of my life but I felt I wasn’t progressing so I became Karl then

Now if you want to raise up the intrinsic motivation for your child , know your child as an individual not as your child
We all have a hidden generational trauma within us which can dishamper our child’s overall development . We try to get pushy with our personal choice on the child , this is because of the kind of parenting our parents gave us.
So the mantra to light up the intrinsic motivation is….
Learn about your child’s interests
Learn about your child’s comfort zone
Learn about what challenges your child likes
Learn about what house hold chore your child loves
Learn about what subject your child finds fun and fascinating
When you learn and understand this , you can be a catalyst in raising your ward’s intrinsic motivation
You can then plan a household chore as a daily routine he/she loves to do , may be tidying the cupboard or washing the bicycle
You can plan about a study time revolving around what subject your child is fascinated about
So once this intrinsic motivation meter is all well set up
This child /individual will have a habit to be intrinsically motivated always to start a task , learn a new skill , go for a transition because he is in control of his liking and disliking.
“I exercise thrice this week to feel more energetic and peace at mind “
