Our Mission: To create an inclusive and supportive ecosystem that empowers persons with disabilities to reach their full potential, while fostering awareness and acceptance in society.
Our Vision: A world where persons with disabilities are valued, respected, and empowered to lead fulfilling lives.
Objective: SpecialSaathi is a non-profit organization established in August- September 2022. It’s sole objective is to empower persons with disabilities and promote awareness and acceptance in society. Our goal is to create an inclusive ecosystem that supports the well-being, dignity, and potential of individuals with disabilities.
Our Goals
1. Empowerment: Provide persons with disabilities with the trusted resources, help, support, skill training and guidance they need to lead fulfilling lives.
2. Awareness: Educate society about disability issues, promoting empathy, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
3. Inclusion: Advocate for policies and practices that support equal access and opportunities for persons with disabilities.
4. Community: Foster a supportive network of individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and allies.
Programs, initiatives and Services
1. Resource Hub: A comprehensive online platform http://www.specialsaathi.com offering trusted information, tools, and referrals on disability-related topics.
2. Support Groups: Online and offline communities for individuals with disabilities, families, and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and receive support.
3. Awareness Campaigns: Educational initiatives, events, and media outreach to promote disability awareness and inclusion.
4. Advocacy: Collaborate with policymakers, educators, employers, and healthcare providers to promote inclusive practices and policies.
5. Training and Capacity Building: Workshops, webinars, and training sessions for diverse stakeholders including schools, colleges, offices, hospitals, society complexes on disability-related topics.
6. Skill development: Launch skill development programs and an academy focusing on fitness, sports, computer education, art, music, expressive artforms, social skills, group play, vocational training etc.
