“A fun-filled Marriage trip”




Part 3: Welcome to my travel blog of Mumbai. My fun-filled short distance travels continued for the 3rd week in Mumbai.

Day 1 : Chitti’s house to Manju Aunty’s house : “Lot of delicious food”

One day we went to Manju Aunty’s house. There I ate a lot of delicious food. I did some interesting drawings for Manju Aunty. She praised me and said it’s beautiful. I also played with Manju aunty’s daughters childhood toys. I love to play with toys. We took an auto and came to the station and returned our home.

Day 2 : Chitti’s house to the biggest Trampoline park : “We jumped a lot”

Next day we went to a big Trampoline park. There were a lot of homeschoolers. It was a little hot inside but we had a lot of fun. We jumped and jumped and jumped a lot.


Day 3 : Chitti’s house to Paati’s old house : “New family in Paati’s house”

One day we went to Paati’s house with my cousin- Ansh. There we climbed the stairs. There was a new family living there. Ansh and I played with the new family’s daughter. We also visited the neighbours. We had a lot of fun playing games together.

Day 4 : Chitti’s house to Brahma Kumari centre : “I got some balloons”

One day we went to Brahmakumari’s centre but it was the house of a Brahmakumari teacher. He had lots of balloons. I played with the balloons. I love balloons. I got 3 red balloons from there. We had a lot of fun.

Day 5 : Chitti’s house to Saibaba temple : “Darshan of Sai Baba”

One day we went to Saibaba temple. There was a bell. It was fun trying to ring the bell and we did darshan of Sai baba and came back home.

Day 6 : Chitti’s house to Lonavala marriage and Khandala trip : “Yummy yummy sweets and a beautiful pond”

One day we went to Anu akka’s marriage. There were yummy sweets. We had so much fun at the resort. Before going back home we went to Khandala. There was a Wagh devi temple. We did Darshan there. We also went to a park and saw a beautiful pond.

This was my travel blog for week 3. Hope you liked it.

My Mumbai Travel Blog (Part 2) by Lavanya Iyer Bloggersaathi junior


Part 2 : “And the Fun in Mumbai continues.. “

Welcome to my Mumbai travel blog part 2. My travels continued for the second week in Mumbai!



Day 1 : Chitti’s (aunt’s) house to Mani Mamu’s (uncle’s) house : “I love birds! A cockatiel sat on my shoulders”

I love birds! I got excited as we went to Mani mamu’s (uncle’s) house. There were two cockatiels and many budgies in their house. One cockatiel sat on my shoulders. I was so excited and happy. It was fun to meet their daughter Naira. We played with clay there and came back home in Chittappa’s (uncle’s)car.

Day 2 : Chitti’s (aunt’s) house to VVMC park : “Meeting other homeschoolers”

Next day we went to VVMC park. I saw a lot of birds in the park. I love birds, I love to see them flying and chirping. There were a lot of children in the park too and we had a lot of fun. There were slides and swings and wonderful rides. It was a park for kids and we also met other homeschoolers like me there.


Day 3 : Chitti’s (aunt’s) house to tailor shop : “Searching on the streets for a tailor shop”

One day we went to find a tailor shop to stitch a lehenga choli for me to wear in Anu akka’s (sister’s) marriage. We saw several shops but we did not find any tailor shop to stitch my lehenga choli. At last we found one lady who agreed to stitch it. It was a relief to finally find her.


Day 4 : Chitti’s (aunt’s) house to Aaji Aajoba park and Calisthenics training centre : “Kesar Lassi was so yummy”

Next day we went by train to Malad and took an auto from the station to Aaji Aajoba park. There was a drawing day for homeschoolers there. There were also rides in the park. They were fun. Next we went to the Calisthenics training centre as the park got closed. There I did a lot of fun activities like hanging on the bars. When we came back, I ate Pani puri and Kesar lassi in the shop near the station. It was so yummy.

Day 5 : Chitti’s (aunt’s) house to a book exhibition : “My favourite Hanuman story book”

Next day we went to a book exhibition. There we saw many books. There I found a Hanuman story book. I started reading it. It was fun to read the book standing there. We bought some other books and came back home in Chittappa’s (uncle’s) car with my cousin, Anshu.

My Mumbai Travel Blog (part 1) by Lavanya Iyer Bloggersaathi junior


I visited my Chitthi (aunt) in Mumbai recently. These are some of my experiences there. By Lavanya Iyer


Our home Gurgaon to Vasai Station (Mumbai) – “The boy on the train”


We came to the railway station and sat in the train which travelled across many stations. In the train there was a family with a small child. We played with him. We also gave him one of our toys. He took the toy.




Day 1: Chitthi’s House to Seashore-“My friend Ansh”

Finally we reached Vasai. I played with my cousin Ansh. The next day, we went to the beach. There I played in the water and ran with Ansh. We had fun in the water and on the beach.




Day 2 : Chitthi’s House to Church – “Curious me!”

We decided to go to the church. We saw many shops on the way. At last we arrived. We also saw a graveyard in the Church. I was very curious. It was fun in the church.




Day 3 : Chitthi’s House to Post office to collect TAHD book – “the budgie, the fish, the tortoise”

Next day we went to the post office and collected a book. On the way we saw a budgie shop. We also went to a temple. It had a pond with fish and tortoise. We had a lot of fun.




Day 4 : Chitthi’s House to a pond and temple : “my aquatic playmates”

Next day we went to a Talav (pond) and a temple. There was a Lord Hanuman statue there and the pond had fishes. It was fun to play with the fishes.




Day 5 : Chitthi’s House to Dattani Mall : “Malls are fun”

Next day we went to Dattani Mall. There were games and a children’s play area. We played games and that was fun.
